Just had a fantastic stay at Annesdale House! Breakfasts were top-notch, especially that incredible fruit salad. The room was spacious with our own private terrace overlooking a gorgeous garden. Roger and Alena made us feel at home. Couldn’t ask for more, really!

the floorboards creaked incessantly, very charming indeed, but hardly what one would expect in a 'luxurious' retreat. of course, I also didn't receive a complimentary bath bomb, which was an absolute must for relaxation. I almost considered a good review, but being treated like everyone else is simply unacceptable.

The only downside was the absence of bath salts or bombs for a relaxing soak, which felt like a missed opportunity to enhance the experience. the street noise occasionally intruded, but it wasn't enough to disrupt a good night's sleep.

Annesdale House felt like a luxurious retreat with its spacious room and private terrace overlooking the garden. The cozy sitting area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast impressed me thoroughly. I loved the variety, especially the well-cooked options. Alena’s kindness shone through. she ensured that we had everything we needed. One minor downside was the steps leading to our room. They might not work for everyone. Otherwise, the location was fantastic, just a short walk to Windermere's amenities. I'd happily stay here again!
